Terms of service

My Medicine Cabinet is an organisational tool. It counts pills, projects run-out dates, plans a pill box and flags possible interactions from a curated open dataset. It does not diagnose, prescribe or replace your doctor or pharmacist. Interaction results are informational, are not exhaustive, and must never be the basis for starting, stopping or changing a medicine. Always confirm with a healthcare professional.

• You must be 18 or older to hold an account, and provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for activity under your account.
• You may link several sign-in methods (email, Google, Apple) to one profile.

Run-out dates, reorder alerts and pill-box plans are calculated from the doses, pack sizes and stock you enter or scan. If those inputs are wrong or out of date, the results will be wrong. Review them before relying on them, and never let the app be your only safeguard against running out of a critical medicine.

• Reminders by email, text message or browser notification depend on networks and devices we do not control, so they can be late or fail to arrive.
• Standard message rates from your mobile operator may apply to text messages.
• Answers you give to a check-in are written to your medication record and adjust your stock accordingly.

• You may grant another person access to a patient record, and choose whether they can manage care, refills or costs.
• If you add a record for someone else, you confirm you have their permission or the legal authority to act for them.
• Actions taken on a patient record are written to an activity log visible to everyone with access to that record.
• Access can be revoked at any time and takes effect immediately.

• Refill messages are sent only when you press send, to the address you provide. We cannot guarantee delivery, that your doctor reads it, or that a prescription is issued.
• Cost and claim tracking is a record-keeping aid. It does not submit anything to your insurer and does not guarantee reimbursement.

• Do not use the service to obtain medication unlawfully, or to impersonate a patient, doctor or pharmacy.
• Do not attempt to access other users' data, disrupt the service, or scrape it at scale.
• We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, and downtime or maintenance can occur. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms.

To the extent permitted by law, Bernard Piccione is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for health outcomes arising from reliance on the app instead of professional medical advice. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer under EU law.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time; deletion removes your records as described in the privacy policy.

These terms are governed by the law of Europe (EU/EEA) and the United States, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence in the EU/EEA. Questions: support@bernardpiccione.com.
